My change to the Big Kahuna plan went through fine, but now we have a problem; while the "usage statistics" are accurately reflecting the new plan and plan start date, the "top up" system isn't. Under "Show top-up details" there is no data allowance at all listed for my new billing month - and data usage has, it turns out, been being taken off what was left of the PREVIOUS month.

The upshot of this is that when I got home from work this morning I found I was speed-limited in off-peak. I'm now using the ~10GB of peak from last month that I have left and then presumably I'll be capped 24/7. Painful Smiley

I know that with the changes that had to be made to my account to switch me to Big Kahuna, this is likely an unintended side-effect that can't be fixed until the appropriate person gets to it.

So in the meantime, help! Can I have a top up for, err, last month's allowance so I don't have to wait over a minute for pages like The Age's web site to load?

I did try ringing tech support, but gave up after 45 minutes on hold.

Have a free present (check your show topup details) while we get it fixed up.

You may need to powercycle your modem.

Thank you Angus, very much appreciated (my end-of-working-weekend gaming can now proceed as normal Smiley )

I did eventually get through to support and they mentioned someone on the Whirlpool list had already made a note about it, so I'll sit back and wait for the debugging to happen  Grin

Thanks again.

It should be resolved when your next billing cycle rolls around. Meanwhile, just post here if you get low on your emergency rations.

Thanks Angus. I noticed someone added another top-up last weekend, which was appreciated. I'll keep an eye and yell in advance if I look like running low (which I probably will!) Kind of been rationing my usage while this has been happening, but if it's going to correct itself on the 10th then I can live with that Smiley

One other thing that I only noticed yesterday when I got my bill, by the way - despite assurances from the sales line that the $10 bundle discount would still apply, it does not appear on my bill this month...

No need to ration your usage.

But I can't help with the bill. You might have to give billing a call.

Yeah, I figured as much, I just wanted to make sure it wasn't part of the whole reconfiguration thing that had to be forced through. I'll give billing a call tomorrow.

Never thought I'd see the day when someone says "only 200GB"  Cheesy

Hi Angus,

Looks like I'm going to need a top-up or two to get me through to Monday night's billing changeover without being speed-limited.. Smiley

Post-changeover (and post-3am Wink ) everything appears to be fixed with the start of the new billing month.

Thanks!
