Why Are Uploads Counted on your plans. The only other ISPs that do it are Optus and Telstra and they are for Mum and Dad users. Is Iprimus targeting the Mum And Dad Users because they are easy to rip off or is their another reason

AAPT recently got rid of counted users because of the backlash on Whingepool

It depends on what plan your on, because the plan we are on "Intense 20 up to 8000k-20000MB 24 mth "  it doesn’t count the uploads, and if we go over the 20Gb limit the speeds just slow down....

But I think all the adsl2+ plans include the upload, and they have an off and on peaks system which I personally don’t like, plus on the “on peak time” they give you the fewer amount of usage then the off peak which is silly.

But if you’re a torrent downloader then I recommend using the “Windows Task scheduler” to start uTorrent or Vuze when the off-peak time starts.

That way the uploads are going towards the bigger usage limit "Off-peak".

Its strange that Iprimus count uploads. Maybe because deep down Primus is a Mum and Dad ISP and becuase Mums and Dads dont know anybetter they get sucked in

TPG dont cound uploads on their 200GB Plan but TPG arent in WA

Its the only reason stopping me from joining

Also remember everything uploads. EG. Downloading uses Uploads. Most of my downloads would be from my FTP hosted on WAX. But still. Its a bit of a Rip
