What are the chances of being put on a 1500 speed profile while the Somerton exchange maintenance is ongoing as my speeds are getting slower and slower everyday.

See test results from Ozspeed test below.

[`[*Test Results from Oz Broadband Speed Test*]`]
[(----------------------------------
Test run on [*18/10/2009*] @ [*09:34 AM*])]

[(Mirror: [*iPrimus (Melb)*]
Data: [*600 KB*]
Test Time: [*27.92 secs*])]

[(Your line speed is [*175 kbps*] (0.17 Mbps).
Your download speed is [*22 KB/s*] (0.02 MB/s). )]

We can put you on a 1500 profile if you like, but it is not a workaround for congestion issues (unless we put everyone on a lower speed).

I have been told the work on the Somerton exchange wont  be completed until the end of this month.

What would be your suggestion?

Unfortunately, and I know this is not the answer you want to hear, we need to wait for the backhaul upgrades we ordered several months ago to be provisioned.

No worries i will wait till they are complete?

I was a bit surprised iPrimus did not inform the customers on the Somerton exchange that there will be interruptions until the end of the month.
